But many believe it had always been up there, waiting for the right time to reemerge from the void. Others believe it's nothing but a mirage. But even illusions serve a purpose.Ghulam Ali was one of the rare visionaries who attempted to reach the object by a rocket in the 1820s. But both missions ended with fatal results.
