Objective of the present study is to prolong the delivery of the active drug in the nanoparticles using natural surfactant (Sapindus trifoliatus Linn, Hibiscus rosasinensis, Basella Alba L. and Acacia concinna) which can effectively deliver the drug for an extended duration of time hence not only reduce the systemic side effects but also improve the therapeutic efficacy and patient compliance.The optimized formulations were studied for particle size, shape, drug loading capacity, % of yield, viscosity of external phase,% CDR, HPLC, SEM, FTIR , DSC spectra and Box-Behnken design.
Dr.K.Jaya Raja Kumar has been completed M.Pharm.,(Industrial pharmacy) in Annamalai University and PhD in Acharya Nagarjuna University. He is presently working as a faculty of pharmacy in AIMST University,Kedah,Malaysia.Dr.K.Jaya Raja Kumar also published more than 100 research papers.
