Steven Snape is Senior Lecturer in Egyptian Archaeology in the School of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology at the University of Liverpool, UK. He is Director of Archaeological Collections at Liverpool University and Field Director of its excavations at the site of Zawiyet Umm el-Rakham. He has published widely on ancient Egyptian archaeology, including The Complete Cities of Ancient Egypt (2014).
