Claudia Zayfert, PhD, provides consultation and training in posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and mental health care and is founder of EverMind, which is building innovative digital tools to increase access to evidence-based mental health treatments. Dr. Zayfert is a clinical psychologist who has practiced cognitive-behavioral therapy for PTSD and anxiety and mood disorders since the 1990s. She was formerly Associate Professor at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, where she served as Director of the Anxiety Disorders Service and the PTSD Treatment Program. She is coauthor of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for PTSD, Second Edition (for mental health professionals), and When Someone You Love Suffers from Posttraumatic Stress (for general readers). Carolyn Black Becker, PhD, ABPP, is Professor of Psychology at Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. She is a clinical psychologist who specializes in the treatment of posttraumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders, using scientifically supported interventions. Dr. Becker is a Fellow of the Academy for Eating Disorders, the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and the Association for Psychological Science, and is President (2019) of the Society for a Science of Clinical Psychology. She is a recipient of the Lori Irving Award for Excellence in Eating Disorders Prevention and Awareness from the National Eating Disorders Association and the Research-Practice Partnership Award from the Academy of Eating Disorders, among other honors.
