Ukraine and Russia

From Civilized Divorce to Uncivil War
Langbeschreibung
D'Anieri explains the invasion of Ukraine by exploring dynamics between Ukraine, Russia and the West since the fall of the Soviet Union. Now fully revised and updated, this book demonstrates how the security dilemma, the impact of democratization on geopolitics, and the incompatible goals of a post-Cold War Europe have led to war.
